4TB Drive Prevents Windows 7 From Booting

It seems that it hangs the BIOS if the 4TB drive is plugged in.  Once it boots Windows, no problem.  It appears that the BIOS doesnt handle two different revisions of USB drivers well.  I am looking for a solution.
